The Schaefer Great Hawk Wind Indicator provides quick visual wind-direction reference for cruising and racing sailboats from approximately 8 to 20 meters.

The balanced vane arm responds to shifts and gusts with low inertia, while adjustable reference arms can be set for common upwind or downwind angles.

A 5 mm aluminum support rod provides a durable mast-mounted structure, and the quick-release mounting arrangement makes the indicator easier to remove when rigging or storing the boat.
