Description

The Samlex SEC-1223 is a high-efficiency AC-to-DC power supply designed to provide clean, regulated 13.8V DC output at up to 23A. It was developed for land-mobile-radio and communications applications but is also well suited to marine electronics, security systems, test equipment, GPS units, plotters, DC computers, and 12V lighting.

Advanced switch-mode circuitry keeps the unit compact and relatively lightweight while minimizing output ripple and radio-frequency interference. The output is highly regulated at 13.8V DC, providing a stable supply for equipment that may be sensitive to voltage fluctuation or electrical noise.

The unit is configured for 120V AC operation and can also be internally set for 240V AC operation when properly configured. A detachable AC power cord with a standard NEMA 5-15P plug is included for typical North American installations.

Protection includes over-current, short-circuit, and over-voltage safeguards. The supply is UL listed to U.S. And Canadian safety standards and complies with FCC Part 15 Class B requirements for digital devices.
