Description

The Samlex desktop switching power supply provides clean, regulated 13.8V DC output at up to 10A from standard AC power. Originally designed for land-mobile-radio applications, it is also well suited to communications equipment, GPS receivers, plotters, security systems, test equipment, marine displays, DC computers, lighting, and other 12V electronics that need a stable bench or fixed-installation power source.

Advanced switch-mode circuitry keeps the supply compact and efficient while minimizing output ripple and radio-frequency interference. The highly filtered output helps support sensitive communications and navigation electronics where electrical noise can degrade performance.

The unit is configured for 120V AC input at 60Hz and can also be internally configured for 240V AC operation when appropriate. A detachable power cord with a standard NEMA 5-15P plug is included for typical North American installations.

Built-in protection covers over-current, short-circuit, and over-voltage conditions. The supply is UL listed to U.S. And Canadian safety standards and conforms to FCC Part 15 Class B requirements.
