Description

The Samlex 24V three-bank charger is designed for installations that need one AC-powered charger to maintain several separate battery banks without adding an external isolator. Its commercial-grade switch-mode design provides efficient charging in a relatively lightweight package and is suited to marine systems, recreational vehicles, communications equipment, and battery backup applications.

The charging program can be user-selected for either two-stage or three-stage operation. Three-stage mode is appropriate for normal stand-alone battery charging, while the two-stage setting is useful when batteries remain connected to an active DC load. The charger can also operate as a regulated DC power supply or as part of a DC UPS arrangement when used with a battery. Front-panel voltage and current monitoring, along with LED power indication, make routine system checks easier without connecting separate meters. The charger is compatible with Samlex’s 900-RC remote control, providing an option for installations where operating information needs to be viewed away from the charger. Samlex backs the unit with a two-year limited warranty and lists marine, automotive, RV, communications, and battery-backup applications among its intended uses.

Samlex’s Universal Protection Circuit provides protection against short circuits, overloads, and reverse battery polarity. The charger’s proven design is built for continuous service and can charge multiple supported lead-acid battery types.
