Description

The Samlex SC-10 Portable SunCharger uses a 10W solar panel to maintain the charge of a 12V battery during storage. It is designed for boats, cars, trucks, ATVs, RVs, and other equipment that may sit unused long enough for normal parasitic loads or self-discharge to weaken the battery.

The panel can connect through a 12V accessory plug or directly to the battery with the included ring-terminal lead. Built-in circuitry prevents current from flowing backward from the battery into the panel at night, and the system is designed for direct maintenance charging without a separate external charge controller.

Semi-flexible construction and a rugged weather-resistant design make the panel convenient for temporary outdoor use. A 10-foot cable is attached to the panel, with additional short leads supplied for the 12V plug and ring-terminal connections.
