The Rupp Top Gun Aluminum Backing Plate, 2.4-Inch Hole is made from anodized aircraft aluminum and works with any bolt-in Top Gun or Z-30 outrigger base.

You need these when the top itself is not thick enough to support the base. An outrigger base under load puts far more into a hardtop than its own weight, and a backing plate spreads that instead of letting the fasteners pull through.

Sold individually, and two are required per installation. We carry more in our outriggers and rigging.
