Rough Rider Tiny Trapper Imitation Tortoise Shell Knife

Description

The Rough Rider Tiny Trapper pairs a stainless clip blade with a spey blade in a miniature 2-inch closed format, set in an imitation tortoise shell handle with nickel silver bolsters.

The clip blade handles the smallest everyday cutting tasks around the house, while the spey blade’s flatter edge and rounded tip is purpose-built for detail work a pointed blade handles less cleanly, a practical two-blade pairing shrunk down to a pocket-friendly, almost keychain-ready scale. Imitation tortoise shell gives the handle a distinctive mottled amber and brown look overall, a classic material appearance without using the legally protected tortoiseshell material itself. Nickel silver bolsters add durability at the pivot points along with a bit of distinctive shine.

Each blade opens on a nail nick, the traditional way, secured by a slip joint, where spring tension does the work rather than a mechanical locking bar. Rough Rider has built a following among collectors for miniature pieces exactly like this, small and distinctive enough to stand out.
