Rough Rider Long Rifle Granddad Barlow Red Knife

Description

The Rough Rider Long Rifle Granddad Barlow Red Knife is a special gift edition, a mirror-finished 5-inch closed stainless clip blade with distinctive blade etching, set in a red smooth bone handle with nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, shipped in a gift tin.

The granddad barlow is built larger than a standard barlow pattern, the extended handle and blade length giving substance and weight in hand compared to the more compact standard barlow variants, historically favored by users who wanted a bigger, more capable version of the classic barlow shape suited to harder, more demanding daily use. That blade etching adds a decorative touch beyond a plain, unmarked blade, and the gift tin packaging makes this piece ready to present rather than just a standard blister-packed knife. Red smooth bone gives the handle a bold, classic look.

The blade is opened by a nail nick in the old pattern, secured by a slip joint, where spring tension does the work rather than a mechanical lock. Rough Rider’s Long Rifle series brings elevated presentation to the historic granddad barlow pattern, worth a spot in any serious traditional knife collection.
