Rough Rider 2631 30th Anniversary Small Sunfish Knife

Description

The Rough Rider 2631 30th Anniversary Small Sunfish Knife is a commemorative collector’s piece, pairing a mirror-finished stainless spear blade with a pen blade in a brown checkered bone handle, featuring special blade etching and shipped in a gift tin.

That blade etching marks this as a limited commemorative release, a permanently marked detail on the steel itself that sets this piece apart from Rough Rider’s standard production lineup. The spear blade gives a symmetrical, reinforced tip that stays strong under pressure, well suited to piercing tasks, while the pen blade’s smaller, more controlled edge handles fine detail work a larger blade manages less cleanly. Brown checkered bone brings natural texture to the handle, and nickel silver bolsters add durability at the pivot points along with distinctive shine.

The gift tin packaging makes this a ready-made present for a collector or milestone occasion, rather than just a standard blister-packed knife pulled off a peg. Rough Rider built this piece specifically to mark 30 years in business, a milestone worth commemorating with materials rather than a token release. The sunfish pattern itself is a traditional shape, named for its rounded, slightly oval handle profile reminiscent of the fish.
