Its 2.75-inch direct-reading dial works with Ritchie’s Course Minder movable bezel and heading-memory indicator to help you maintain a selected course. Composite construction and a flexible diaphragm support operation across a broad temperature range, and the compass operates without wiring or external power.

DirectiveForce magnets, a hardened steel pivot, and sapphire-jewel movement provide the core navigation mechanism. This black version mounts directly to the surface, while an optional Kayaker tie-down mount is available separately.
