Description

Raymarine Quantum 2 Q24D Radar Doppler with 15m Power & Data Cables – T70417

The Raymarine Quantum 2 Q24D Radar Doppler (T70417) is a cutting-edge 18-inch radome that utilizes Doppler collision avoidance technology to enhance situational awareness on the water. This specific kit (T70417) is a comprehensive “ready-to-install” package that includes both a 15-meter power cable and a 15-meter data cable, making it ideal for larger vessels where longer cable runs are necessary.

Advanced Doppler Target Tracking

The standout feature of the Quantum 2 is its ability to instantly identify and color-code moving radar contacts. This allows you to differentiate between stationary hazards and moving vessels at a single glance.

• Color-Coded Targets: Inbound targets moving toward your vessel are displayed in red, while outbound targets moving away are shown in green.

• Safety Sector: This feature spreads 15° from the bow to approximately 200m, automatically highlighting potentially dangerous targets (stationary or moving) in red.

• Fully Automatic Tracking: Features both fully automatic ARPA and manual MARPA modes for effortless target tracking without needing to manually set up guard zones.

• CHIRP Pulse Compression: Provides superior imaging at both long distances and extremely short ranges, detecting targets as close as 18 feet (6 meters) for safe navigation in zero-visibility conditions.

Technical Specifications

• Range Performance: 1/16 to 24 nautical miles.

• Power Efficiency: Extremely low power consumption (17W transmit, 7W standby), which is ideal for sailboats and battery-dependent vessels.

• Fast Start-up: The solid-state technology allows the radar to be ready to use in seconds rather than minutes.

• Connectivity: Supports both wired RayNet Ethernet and integrated Wi-Fi for flexible installation.

• Durability: IPX6 waterproof rating with a maximum wind speed tolerance of 100 knots.
