The Raymarine EV-DBW Evolution Autopilot (T70164) is a specialized autopilot system designed for vessels equipped with drive-by-wire steering. Unlike traditional mechanical or hydraulic systems, this kit interfaces directly with the boat’s digital steering bus (such as Volvo Penta IPS, Yamaha Helm Master, or Yanmar VC10), eliminating the need for a physical drive unit or rudder reference sensor in most installations.
