Description

The Raritan 12V Smart Macerator Control Module watches the motor and pump to prevent dry running and overload, which are the two ways a macerator destroys itself.

The logic is specific. If the pump fails to prime within 7 seconds, or runs dry for 5 seconds, the control shuts it down. Resetting is a matter of switching the pump off and on again; the control’s own power does not need to be cut.

If power is left on to the control, it jogs the macerator pump for a few milliseconds periodically, which keeps the impeller from taking a set in one position. We carry more in our marine toilets and sanitation systems.
