This Quick Anchor Rode pairs 15′ of 7mm chain with 200′ of 1/2″ rope, using Quick’s Slim Splice system. An anchor rode links the anchor to the boat, and its strength while mooring matters. The critical point is the splice, where rope meets chain, and Quick built a slimmer, more tapered splice that avoids the jamming that often happens transitioning from rope to chain on the gypsy.
