The PropOne foul-release coating kit is designed for propellers and underwater running gear that remain immersed and are vulnerable to marine growth. The multi-stage system creates a low-surface-energy finish that makes organisms less able to adhere strongly, helping propellers and running gear stay cleaner between normal maintenance intervals.

Rather than relying on a conventional biocide-leaching antifouling mechanism, PropOne uses its slick final surface to reduce attachment. Cleaner propeller blades and running gear can help preserve the smooth water flow and operating efficiency that are lost when fouling accumulates on submerged mechanical components.

This kit is sized for approximately two 36-inch propellers and running gear and contains two 120 mL primer coats, two 30 mL primer activators, one 200 mL clear coat, two Prop Wash wipes, and two stirring sticks. Correct preparation and application are essential to a foul-release system, so clean the substrate thoroughly and follow the manufacturer’s primer, activator, clear-coat, recoat, and cure instructions before returning the boat to the water.
