ProMariner ProSportHD 12 Global 12A Battery Charger

Description

The ProMariner ProSportHD 12 Global Gen 4 brings ProMariner’s digital charging platform to boats that need a two-bank charger with broad AC input compatibility. This Global version uses an IEC C14 AC connection and requires a C13 adapter plug, an important installation detail to account for before putting the charger into service.

ProMar Digital Technology uses microprocessor and software control for precise automatic charging, while Distributed-On-Demand technology redirects unused charging capacity to the battery or combination of batteries that still need recovery. A fully automatic five-stage program analyzes, charges, conditions, maintains, and periodically reconditions connected batteries during storage. Three selectable charge profiles support flooded lead-acid, AGM, and gel batteries.

The tri-surface extruded heat sink uses upper, lower, and rear cooling surfaces to help the charger maintain true-rated output while keeping the housing lighter than many epoxy-filled designs. An expanded LED display provides a fuel-gauge-style completion monitor along with charge-mode, system-check, battery-status, battery-type, and fault indications. Energy Saver maintenance reduces unnecessary AC use during storage, while dual waterproof inline fuses and protection against reverse polarity, excessive temperature, current, voltage, and ignition hazards support dependable marine operation.
