Description

The Pro-Guide PGC-410 is designed for boats that need independent charging control across several 12V battery banks. Each bank can be assigned one of three supported charging profiles, allowing lead-acid, AGM, and lithium batteries to coexist in the same charging system without requiring every battery to share the same charging strategy.

This independent-bank approach is especially useful on fishing boats and other multi-battery installations where starting, house, electronics, and trolling batteries may have different chemistries or service demands. Pro-Guide’s Activation Mode can supply a short wake-up voltage to a sleeping lithium battery, with a manual activation option available when a longer wake-up sequence is needed. The Intelligent PGC Algorithm periodically checks each battery’s state of charge while the charger remains connected, allowing the unit to stay plugged in between trips and maintain the batteries automatically. Each output is rated for its own dedicated charging current, so all four connected batteries can be managed independently rather than through a shared output. That dedicated-bank architecture is useful when batteries age at different rates or return from a trip at different states of charge.

Protection circuitry covers output over-voltage, over-current, short circuits, reverse polarity, and excessive temperature.
