Description

The Pro-Guide PGC-21236 is designed for mixed-voltage marine battery systems that need one charger to manage conventional 12V banks alongside higher-voltage lithium equipment. Its three independently managed outputs allow a boat owner to support a standard 12V lead-acid, AGM, or lithium battery, a second bank that can be configured for 12V or 16V use, and a dedicated 36V lithium bank from the same on-board charger.

Each compatible bank can use the charge profile appropriate for the connected battery, which makes the charger especially useful on boats combining starting, electronics, and trolling-motor batteries with different chemistries or voltage requirements. Pro-Guide’s Activation Mode can supply a short wake-up voltage to a sleeping lithium battery, and a manual activation sequence is available when a deeper wake-up cycle is needed. The Intelligent PGC Algorithm periodically checks battery state of charge while the charger remains connected, helping keep the system ready between trips without requiring the owner to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect shore power.

Built-in protection covers output over-voltage, excessive current, short circuits, reverse polarity, and high temperature.
