Description

The Perko 9703DP Heavy Duty Battery Disconnect Switch is designed for high-current marine electrical systems that need a rugged main battery isolation point. It is ignition protected and supports 6, 12, 24, and 32-volt systems for broad compatibility across boats and other marine equipment.

The switch is rated for 450 amps continuous and 1200 amps intermittent, with the intermittent rating based on 15 seconds on followed by five minutes off. That capacity makes it suitable for demanding starting and distribution applications where a heavy-duty disconnect is required.

An alternator field disconnect is built into the switch, providing an added level of protection for compatible charging systems when the battery is disconnected.
