The Perko 12V converter module lets a Perko LED combination masthead and all-round light replace an older incandescent fixture without rewiring the boat’s navigation light switching.

The problem it solves is specific. A direct wire-for-wire swap of an incandescent combination light for the LED version does not work, because the switching arrangement the old fixture relied on does not drive the new one correctly. That leaves two options: rewire the existing switch to the diagram in the LED light’s instructions, or fit this module, part number 1680DP012V, and follow the wiring supplied with the new light so the switch stays as it is.
