Description

The Pacer Red 8 AWG Primary Wire provides marine-grade positive wiring for charging, power distribution, pumps, and other higher-current DC circuits. It is manufactured in the USA using Type III Class K finely stranded tinned copper for corrosion resistance and installation flexibility.

The flexible strand construction allows the wire to route through panels, machinery spaces, and tight bends more easily than stiffer conductors. Durable color-coded PVC insulation helps protect the cable in harsh onboard environments and resists acid, alkali, abrasion, flame, gasoline, oil, and moisture.

The wire is rated for 600V and uses insulation suitable for -20°C to 105°C service. Compliance includes UL 1426 BC-5W2, US Coast Guard 33 CFR Part 183, and ABYC E-11.14 compliance and states that Pacer marine wire exceeds UL, ABYC, and NMMA requirements.
