Description

The Outdoor Edge Razor HTX carries a 5-inch black oxide replaceable blade in an aluminum handle with a lockback, in orange, gray and black.

Five inches is long for a replaceable-blade folder, and it changes what the knife is for. Where the 3-inch version suits caping and detail work, this length handles breaking down larger game where a short blade means more passes. Replaceable blades answer the real problem with field dressing, which is that hide and hair destroy an edge fast. Swapping a blade takes seconds against the patience field sharpening needs.

An aluminum handle keeps a knife this size rigid without weight, and orange makes it findable on the ground in poor light.

  • 5-inch blade suits larger game than the 3-inch version
  • Replaceable blades avoid field sharpening entirely
  • Aluminum handle stays rigid at this length
  • Orange makes it findable on the ground
