The Outdoor Edge FieldBone FBB-2 is a folding boning and fillet knife made for processing game and fish when pack space matters. Its 5 in 440A stainless blade is double tempered for flexibility, allowing it to follow bone and make controlled fillet cuts without the rigid feel of a general-purpose hunting knife.

A lockback secures the blade in the open position. The blaze-orange Zytel handle uses nonslip TPR inserts and Outdoor Edge’s Trimond texture for grip when hands are wet or slippery, while the bright color makes the knife easier to locate around a cleaning station or campsite. A stainless pocket clip and included Kryptek-style nylon belt sheath provide two carry options.

The knife closes to about 6.5 in, giving you a full 5 in flexible working blade in a package that stores more compactly than a comparable fixed fillet knife.
