Description

The Mercator Black Cat stainless model closes to 4.25 in with a 3.5 in stainless blade inside its slim black metal-alloy handle. The simple metal frame is the defining part of the Mercator pattern and makes the knife noticeably thinner than many modern folders with thick scales.

A bail at the end of the handle provides an attachment point, and the blade has the traditional Mercator tang stamp. This version uses stainless steel rather than a carbon-steel blade, reducing the maintenance needed after normal handling.

This stainless Black Cat is made in Germany, continuing the Mercator pattern’s German production while using a stainless blade for this particular version.
