Onyx built the A/M-24 to work two ways: leave it as an automatic/manual combo, or dial it down to manual-only if that’s how you’d rather run it, in Green.

An automatic trigger fires the inflation on its own, backed by both a pull-cord and an oral tube if you need to step in manually. The cut sits low-profile to keep from overheating you in the sun, and a padded neoprene collar means you’re not chafing by hour three. A strip of reflective trim helps rescuers find you, and a D-ring gives you a spot to clip a knife or light.

Everything ships with an owner’s manual and a “Think Safe” booklet, and getting it ready again after use just takes the A/M-24 Rearming Kit, part 1352. The shell combines 200 denier nylon ripstop with 200 denier nylon oxford, sized for a 30 to 52-inch chest.
