Ontario RAT II Folder OD Green Folding Knife

Description

The Ontario RAT II is the smaller version of a folder that built its reputation on being hard to fault at the price. A 3-inch black-finished AUS-8 blade sits in an OD green textured nylon handle, closing to 4 inches with a thumb stud, lanyard hole and pocket clip.

AUS-8 is a Japanese stainless that takes a keen edge easily and resists rust well, and it sharpens back on any stone rather than needing diamond abrasives. Textured nylon keeps the weight down and grips without the aggressive checkering that wears through a pocket.

Ontario has supplied knives to the US military since the 1940s, and the RAT line is the civilian side of that plain, functional approach. At 3 inches the blade sits under the length limit many places set for everyday carry. Explore more Folding Knives.
