Novelty Cutlery Cosmic America Assisted Opening Knife

Description

The Novelty Cutlery Cosmic America has a 1-inch satin stainless blade and a metal handle, assisted opening and a liner lock.

At 1 inch this is about as small as a working folder gets, sized for a keyring rather than a pocket. It opens envelopes, cuts tape and trims threads, and does not pretend to more. What makes it unusual is the assisted opening. A spring finishes the motion once the blade is nudged, which is rare hardware to find on a knife this size where most rely on a simple nail nick. Novelty Cutlery has built its catalog on small decorated knives since the 1930s, and the Cosmic America handle art follows that tradition.

A liner lock holds the blade open once the spring has done its work, which is more security than most keyring knives offer at this size. Explore more Assisted Opening Knives.
