Description

The Newmar SS Switch 7.5 INV is a heavy-duty AC source selector switch designed for vessels equipped with shore power, an onboard generator, and an inverter. By mechanically isolating the selected source, it helps prevent two AC sources from being connected to the same circuit at the same time, reducing the risk of equipment damage and dangerous backfeeding.

This model is rated for 63A at 115/230V AC and uses a two-pole switching arrangement with three source positions plus Off. The standard engraved plate is marked OFF-GEN-INV-SHORE so the selected source can be identified clearly at the panel.

Heavy-duty contacts and a positive-step cam mechanism are designed to provide low-resistance contact closure and definite source selection. The switch carries cUL approval and is CE marked for supported applications.

The compact assembly can be rear mounted in panels up to 1/4 inch thick and requires approximately 3-1/2 inches of depth.
