Newmar SS Switch 7.5 AC Source Selector Switch

Description

The Newmar SS Switch 7.5 is a 63A AC source selector switch for vessels that need to choose safely between shipboard and shore-based AC sources. Mechanical source isolation prevents both inputs from being connected to the same downstream circuit simultaneously, helping avoid backfeeding, equipment damage, and electrical hazards.

The switch is rated for 63A at 115/230V AC and uses a two-pole arrangement with two source positions plus Off. The standard engraved escutcheon plate is marked SHIP-OFF-SHORE, providing clear identification of the selected power source.

Heavy-duty contacts and a positive-step cam mechanism are designed for firm, low-resistance closure. The switch carries cUL approval and is CE marked. Rear mounting allows it to be installed in panels up to approximately 1/4 inch thick.
