Newmar PX-3 Waterproof Polypropylene Junction Box

Description

The Newmar PX-3 Junction Box provides a waterproof connection enclosure for marine wiring above or below decks, including locations exposed to occasional spray. The non-corrosive high-impact polypropylene housing is rated IP55 and uses a snap-on cover to protect the installed terminal strips and wiring.

Two molded connector strips provide nine positions each and use screw-compression terminals that secure conductors without separate lugs. Brass barrels capture the wire while a stainless-steel pressure finger applies clamping force, keeping the screw itself from cutting into the copper strands. This terminal design meets ABYC requirements.

Seven graduated cut-to-fit cable entries accommodate cable diameters from approximately 0.14 to 0.99 inch, and additional knockouts are available for conduit access. The box supports wire up to 16 AWG.
