Description

The Newmar PT-24-8W Phase Three Battery Charger provides smart three-stage charging for 24V battery systems aboard workboats, military vessels, commercial craft, and recreational boats. Its charging logic moves through bulk, absorption, and float stages to support fast recovery, proper conditioning, and long battery life.

A battery-type selector adjusts charge and float voltage for flooded lead-acid, AGM, or gel batteries. Three isolated outputs allow multiple banks to be charged independently, while the built-in ammeter shows total output current. An optional temperature sensor can automatically compensate charging voltage as battery temperature changes.

The charger can also operate as a regulated DC power supply and can support loads without a battery connected. Current limiting, thermal protection, forced-air cooling, and marinized internal circuitry help protect the unit in demanding installations. The stainless-steel enclosure with powder-coated finish adds corrosion resistance.
