Description

The Newmar PT-14W Phase Three Battery Charger provides smart three-stage charging for 12V battery systems used aboard workboats, military vessels, commercial craft, and recreational boats. Bulk, absorption, and float stages automatically manage recharge and maintenance to support dependable battery performance.

A selector switch provides charging profiles for flooded lead-acid, AGM, and gel batteries. Three isolated output banks allow several batteries to be charged independently from one unit, while the ammeter displays total charger output. An optional temperature sensor can adjust charging voltage according to battery temperature.

The charger can also serve as a regulated DC power supply for onboard loads. Current limiting, thermal protection, forced-air cooling, and polyurethane-coated internal circuitry help protect the charger from overload and the marine environment. Its stainless-steel housing with powder-coated finish adds physical and corrosion resistance.
