Newmar BX-1 Splashproof Aluminum Junction Box

Description

The Newmar BX-1 Junction Box provides a compact protected connection point for low-current marine wiring in wheelhouses, below-deck spaces, and engine-room installations. The rugged cast-aluminum enclosure has a white enamel finish and is rated IP54 splashproof to help shield terminal connections from environmental exposure.

The metal box can also help reduce electrical interference around sensitive wiring. Two grommeted cable entries simplify routing, while the installed connector strip uses compression fittings so wires can be secured without separate crimp terminals.

The BX-1 includes one six-position connector strip. Each position supports wire up to 16 AWG and up to 6A. The two cable entries accommodate cable approximately 0.25 inch in diameter.
