Description

The Morakniv Floating Knife is an 8.88 in fixed blade with a 3.75 in mirror-finished serrated stainless blade and blunt tip. The cork handle is the key feature because it helps the knife stay buoyant around water instead of sinking like a conventional solid-handle knife.

An orange synthetic belt sheath is included and makes the knife easy to spot in marine or fishing gear. The serrated edge is useful for rope and line, while the blunt tip reduces the sharp point found on a typical utility knife.

The blunt tip is especially relevant around rope, line, and inflatable or soft equipment because it removes the acute point found on most fixed blades. Combined with the floating cork handle and bright sheath, the design is clearly oriented toward work around water.
