The Morakniv Basic 511 is an 8 in overall fixed blade designed for uncomplicated work and utility cutting. This black-and-green version uses a 3.5 in carbon-steel blade with a synthetic handle and matching black molded belt sheath.

The carbon-steel blade gives the Basic 511 a traditional working material that takes routine care well but should be cleaned and dried after exposure to moisture. Its plain edge and manageable 3.5 in length make the knife easy to control for shop, camp, and general cutting chores.

The black-and-green synthetic handle gives the grip a simple, easy-to-identify appearance. A molded plastic belt sheath is included to cover the blade during transport and keep the knife accessible when worn on a belt.
