Description

The Mastervolt SCM25 MPPT Solar Charge Controller is designed for small and medium solar systems using approximately 200 to 700 watts of photovoltaic capacity. Its Maximum Power Point Tracking technology improves energy harvest compared with conventional PWM controllers, helping batteries recharge faster from the same panel array.

The controller works with traditional 36- and 72-cell solar panels as well as common 60-cell panels. Higher allowable PV voltage lets installers connect panels in series, which can reduce cable size, wiring length, installation time, and power loss between the array and controller.

Pre-programmed charging profiles support multiple battery types, including Mastervolt lithium systems, and automatic 12V/24V detection simplifies setup. A battery temperature sensor helps optimize charging voltage, while the display provides clear operating information. Protection covers overload, high or low battery voltage, overheating, short circuit, and reverse polarity.
