Description

The Mastervolt Mac Plus 24/24-30 is a DC-DC charger built to provide consistent service-battery charging in systems where a smart alternator, start-stop operation, or voltage drop would otherwise prevent a full charge. It takes a 24V source and delivers controlled 24V charging to the service bank while using engine-run detection to protect the starter battery from unwanted discharge.

The Mac Plus uses Mastervolt’s 3-Step+ charging process and supports a wide range of battery chemistries, including flooded, gel, AGM, spiral, lithium-ion, traction, and user-defined profiles. Temperature compensation and analog voltage sensing help maintain the correct charging conditions at the battery, while the wide DC input range allows the unit to work with modern Euro 5 and Euro 6 alternator systems. A fanless aluminum housing provides silent operation and protection for demanding mobile and marine installations.

MasterBus, CZone, and NMEA 2000 compatibility allow the charger to become part of a connected onboard energy system for monitoring, automation, and configuration. Up to multiple Mac Plus units can be paralleled when additional charging capacity is required.
