Description

The Mastervolt Mac Plus 12/12-50 DC-DC Charger provides controlled 50A charging from a 12V engine or source system to a separate 12V service battery. It is designed to solve the weak or inconsistent charging that can occur with smart alternators, start-stop systems, and long cable runs.

Engine-running detection helps prevent the Mac Plus from draining the starter battery, while Mastervolt’s 3-step+ charging algorithm supports fast, safe charging across multiple battery chemistries, including lithium. Temperature-optimized charging and voltage-sense connections help compensate for changing conditions and cable voltage drop.

The fanless aluminum design operates quietly and provides protection against dust and water ingress. Up to ten compatible units can be configured in parallel when more charging output is required. CZone and NMEA 2000 compatibility allow monitoring and system integration on modern vessels.
