Description

The Mastervolt Battery Mate 2503 IG Isolator is designed to distribute charging current to multiple battery banks while keeping those banks electrically separated. Its electronic MOSFET design minimizes the voltage loss associated with conventional diode isolators, helping connected batteries receive a faster and more complete charge.

The unit accepts charging input from an alternator or battery charger and distributes it across three battery-bank outputs without requiring manual battery switching. Electronic compensation maintains the correct charging voltage even as current and battery conditions change, reducing the need for alternator adjustments commonly associated with traditional isolators.

The Battery Mate mounts on a standard DIN rail for clean installation. An additional IG connection supports alternators that require external excitation or voltage sensing, making the unit useful in both new and retrofit electrical systems.
