Marinco RY504-2-30 Reverse Y Shore Power Adapter

Description

The Marinco RY504-2-30 Reverse Y Adapter is designed for a specific marina-power situation: supplying a 50A 125/250V four-wire boat inlet when the dock provides two separate 30A 125V receptacles instead of a matching 50A connection. Two locking male plugs connect to the dockside receptacles, while the female connector attaches to the boat inlet or a compatible cordset.

Marinco builds special power-isolation circuitry into the adapter for added safety. When only one male plug is connected, the circuitry isolates the second plug so its exposed contacts are not energized. For proper operation, the two 30A receptacles must come from a single power source that provides 208V to 250V between them. Each dockside circuit remains limited by the 30A receptacle feeding it.

This reverse Y is specifically intended for 50A 125/250V four-wire systems and will not work with a 50A 125V three-wire inlet. The boat-side female connector includes Marinco’s sealing collar system for a protected wet-location connection.
