Marinco P504-30 EEL Shore Power Pigtail Adapter

Description

The Marinco P504-30 EEL Pigtail Adapter provides a compact connection between a 30A 125V boat-side shore power inlet and a compatible 50A 125/250V dockside receptacle. The female locking connector attaches to the boat inlet or cordset and uses Marinco’s sealing collar system, while the male locking plug connects to the marina pedestal or compatible shore cord.

Marinco rates the adapter for use in wet locations and includes sealing hardware to help protect the shore power connection from rain, spray, and humid dockside conditions. Its short pigtail format keeps the conversion compact while allowing the two different connector types to mate correctly.

This adapter changes the physical shore power connection but does not change the electrical rating of the vessel’s 30A system. The onboard circuit remains limited by its own design even when the available pedestal connection is rated for higher current.
