Marinco P503-30 EEL Shore Power Pigtail Adapter

Description

The Marinco P503-30 EEL Pigtail Adapter is designed to connect a boat using a 30A 125V shore power inlet to a compatible 50A 125V dockside connection. The boat-side female connector uses a locking design with Marinco’s sealing collar system and attaches to a compatible inlet or cordset, while the male locking plug connects to the shore pedestal or cordset.

The adapter is equipped for use in wet locations, with sealing hardware intended to help protect the connection against moisture around docks and marinas. Its compact pigtail construction provides a direct connection between the two shore power formats without requiring a full-length adapter cable.

Although the dockside connection is rated for higher current, the adapter does not increase the capacity of the boat’s 30A system. Onboard wiring and loads remain limited by the vessel’s existing shore power circuit.
