Marinco P30-504 EEL Shore Power Pigtail Adapter

Description

The Marinco P30-504 EEL Pigtail Adapter is designed to connect a boat equipped for 50A 125/250V shore power to a compatible 30A 125V dockside receptacle. The boat-side female connector uses a locking design with Marinco’s sealing collar system and attaches to a compatible vessel inlet or cordset, while the male locking plug connects to the dockside power source.

Marinco equips this adapter for use in wet locations, with sealing hardware intended to help protect the connection from moisture around docks and marinas. Its compact pigtail format gives boat owners a purpose-built way to connect when the available pedestal receptacle does not match the vessel’s normal shore power inlet.

This adapter changes the connection format but does not increase the capacity of the dockside circuit. When connected to 30A service, the available shore power remains limited by that source even though the boat-side connector is the larger 50A 125/250V style.
