Description

The Marinco EEL ShorePower Cordset is designed to make a high-capacity marina connection easier to secure with one hand while maintaining a watertight seal. Marinco’s Easily Engaged Lock system replaces the conventional threaded sealing ring with a jaw-clamp connection that grips a standard compatible inlet after a simple twist, reducing the number of steps required each time shore power is connected or disconnected.

The wing-clamp design creates a secure connection while a secondary locking feature adds another level of retention once the cordset is engaged. Because the EEL system is designed for standard NEMA inlets, boat owners can gain the easier locking system without necessarily replacing the existing boat-side inlet. The connection is built for harsh marine environments and is UL approved.

A built-in LED cord light helps guide the user to a secure connection in low light and also provides a visible reminder when the cord remains plugged in. Marinco manufactures the cordset to applicable global marine standards, including ABYC and UL requirements.
