Description

The Marinco EEL ShorePower Cordset is designed for boaters who want a simpler way to secure a standard marine shore power connection. Marinco’s Easily Engaged Lock system uses a jaw-style wing clamp that can be operated with one hand, creating a secure connection without requiring the separate sealing ring used by many conventional cordsets.

The EEL clamp engages a standard compatible NEMA inlet and creates a watertight connection for use in demanding marina environments. A secondary locking feature adds security once the connector is in place, helping prevent accidental loosening as the boat moves at the dock. Because the system works with common standard inlets, the cordset can often be used without changing the boat-side hardware.

An integrated LED cord light helps guide the connector into position after dark and also makes it easier to see when the cord remains connected. Marinco builds the cordset to applicable ABYC and UL standards. For vessels using single-voltage 50A shore service, the EEL design combines easier connection, weather protection, and a visible power-area light in a cordset intended for repeated marina use.
