Description

The Marinco CS503-25 EEL ShorePower Cordset is designed to make a 50A 125V shore power connection faster and easier to secure without relying on a conventional threaded locking ring. Marinco’s EEL, or Easily Engaged Lock, system uses a jaw-clamp wing design that can be operated with one hand and locks onto a standard compatible inlet with a simple twist.

The clamp creates a secure watertight connection for use in demanding marina environments, while a secondary locking feature adds another level of retention after the connector is engaged. Because the EEL system is designed for standard NEMA inlets, boat owners can gain the easier connection method without necessarily replacing the inlet already installed on the vessel. The cordset is UL approved and built to applicable global marine standards, including ABYC requirements.

An integrated LED cord light helps guide the connector into place after dark and also provides a visible reminder when the shore power cord remains connected. For boaters who regularly connect and disconnect at the dock, the CS503-25 combines one-handed operation, a weather-resistant seal, standard-inlet compatibility, and a compact cord length for slips where a longer run is unnecessary.
