Marinco 30A to 15A GFI Dockside Power Adapter

Description

The Marinco dockside power adapter provides a safer way to operate standard 15A equipment from a compatible 30A marina power source. It incorporates ground-fault protection into the adapter, helping protect users against harmful electric shock when portable tools or other equipment are being used around boats, docks, and wet working areas.

The built-in GFI is designed to trip at approximately 4 to 6 mA of leakage current. In addition to shock protection, Marinco notes that the adapter can help reduce the possibility of fire caused by electrical faults. It can protect as many as three attached tools, making it useful for maintenance work where several lower-amperage devices may need to be powered from the available dockside service.
