Marinco 157AY 30A Locking Shore Power Y Adapter

Description

The Marinco 157AY Y Adapter is designed to split one compatible 30A 125V locking dockside connection into two separate 30A 125V boat-side connections. The male locking connector attaches to the marina receptacle or compatible cordset, while the two female connectors attach to matching vessel inlets or cordsets.

Marinco equips the adapter with covers and sealing collars so it can be used in wet dockside locations. Each female connector uses the sealing collar system to help protect the connection from moisture, while the integrated Y body keeps both boat-side branches together in one purpose-built marine adapter.

The available power is still limited by the single 30A source feeding the adapter, so this product should be treated as a connection solution rather than a way to increase shore power capacity. It is best suited to installations where the connector arrangement is the primary issue and the vessel’s combined loads remain appropriate for the available dockside service.
