Marinco 110A 30A to 50A Shore Power Pigtail Adapter

Description

The Marinco 110A Pigtail Adapter is designed for boats with a 30A 125V locking shore power inlet when the available marina pedestal provides a compatible 50A 125V connection. The boat-side female connector attaches to the vessel inlet or cordset and incorporates Marinco’s sealing collar system, while the dockside male plug connects to the higher-capacity shore receptacle.

Marinco supplies the adapter with covers and sealing hardware where required and rates it for use in wet locations. The short pigtail design keeps the conversion compact and easy to handle compared with carrying a longer adapter cable when only a connector change is needed.

The adapter does not increase the electrical capacity of the vessel’s 30A shore power system. Even when connected to a 50A pedestal, the boat’s onboard wiring and loads remain governed by the 30A circuit design. For that reason, the adapter should be selected by matching both connector type and voltage, not simply by choosing the highest available dockside amperage.
