Description

The Lew’s Custom Pro is a right-hand baitcasting reel built for a quick 7.5:1 retrieve, with 10+1 bearings and 30 in of line recovery per handle turn. Monofilament capacity is 110 yd of 12 lb line, while braid capacity is 110 yd of 50 lb. A Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing provides immediate anti-reverse engagement when you transition from retrieve to hookset or load.

The reel is built on a one-piece aluminum frame with C45 carbon sideplates, combining a rigid center structure with lightweight side components. Its anodized Duralumin spool uses a drilled, chamfered U-shaped 32 mm design, and Lew’s QuietCast adjustable centrifugal braking system gives you external control over spool behavior as lure weight and casting conditions change. Aluminum Speed Gears handle the drivetrain.

A 95 mm bowed carbon-fiber handle with EVA knobs provides leverage and grip, while a titanium-coated zirconia line guide manages line movement across the spool. The carbon-fiber drag system handles drag pressure, and Lew’s Speed Keeper, Speed Dial, and Speed Lube features are all included. An external lube port provides convenient access for routine reel lubrication without requiring a full teardown.
